A great puppet party

Puppet Centre is 40 years old this year and we are marking the occasion by throwing a monster party to celebrate puppetry in all its wonderful forms. Please put Sunday 16 November in your diary.

There will be short pop-up performances, music, food and a bar, a chance to meet old friends and one or two toasts (also short!). The event will unfold in the Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre from 4-10.30pm.

We will send out a proper invitation in due course, but for the time being write it large in your diary and spread the word to puppeteers and other good friends of puppetry and the Puppet Centre. This is an event not to be missed!

And... we need to ask for your assistance, either as a donor or a helper on the day. Would you be able to make a small contribution towards the cost of the party? Anything would help, from £5 to £50. If you are free to volunteer on the 16th, e.g. to lend a hand to decorate and animate the space, or to keep things running smoothly, please let us know.

If you think it's all a great idea and can make a donation of your time or money, please send an email to Mervyn Millar:  mervyn@significantobject.com

We really hope that you can make it and help us celebrate our amazing art form, and raise a cheer for all of the people who do it and love it.
